Pet Club India today. In 2009, Karan Gupta, a Bachelor’s in Computer Application, started Pet Club India, a one stop site for pet caring and pet parenting. This website offers online support in consumer queries and facilitating online sales of Pet Products all across the country.
Karan says, “Pet Club India has built a consumer base of more than 10,000 pet owners who benefit from promotions and offers, weekly articles and newsletters about various products thus creating awareness of various things happening in and around the pet industry.”
Armed with a dedicated team of experienced vets, Pet Club India also provides guidance and consultancy in buying the right pet in sync with the customer’s lifestyle as well as providing day to day solutions to pet queries.
How did it all begin?
Karan adds, “I realised that pets are an important part of my life and their well-being mattered the most. Being a pet owner myself, I read up, talked to vets, trainers and other animal lovers, and realised that I had a sound base of information and data about animals. This added to my love for animals and the absence of an integrated site which could provide neatly packaged information led me to start this portal for all pet lovers.”
Pet Club India intends to provide a cost effective platform for the pet industry to promote their products and to get a direct feedback from the pet owners, which in turn will help them to create even better products and services. In fact, we are also coming up with matrimonial services for pets soon,” mentions Karan.
Pet Club India is a social networking platform where pet owners can share ideas with other pet owners. Karan further adds, “We also aim to create different online and offline platforms so that pet owners can gather and participate in different activities. We aim to provide pet owners with information and awareness of different products and also help them in getting the most suitable product for their pet with the best possible schemes and offers.”
What you can look for at Pet Club
Pet Club has a section for almost every pet care need. Be it contacting quality breeders, to finding a trainer or a dog hostel, maintaining online medical records, adoptions, dog shows and other pet related events.
For instance, Pet Club India’s online medical record helps pet owners maintain an online log of their pet’s medical history. There is an option for activating vaccination and medical check-up reminders as well! You can also post videos, photographs, chat at Pet Club and discuss all your pet related issues.
Karan further adds, “One important thing is that we need to tell people more that this was primarily an online portal now spreading into offline activities and we also have an e-shop for PetClub India as well.”
Partnership and Events
Pet Club India is partnered with Reliance Time Out, Royal Canin, Max Vets, Dogs and Pups, Creature Companion, Eukanuba to name a few. Pet Club India frequently hosts online promotions for Royal Canin, dog shows and has been the promotions partner for India International Pet Trade Fair 2010. They have also organised a Dog Fashion show in association with Reliance Time Out at Ambience Mall, in Gurgaon where more than 150 pets participated. Karan adds, “The event was a huge hit and got a lot of media coverage from print, electronics media and the radio.”
