ASUS Zenfone 5 – The New Arm Candy in Town

ASUS Zenfone5This is the first time that I got to use a new brand of mobile phone from the regular models available in the market. So to get a hang of it, I started carrying the ASUS Zenfone 5 around with me, making phone calls, taking pictures – basically to get a feel of what this new sleek gadget is all about.

Powered by Intel Atom Z2580/ Z2560 and Dual-core 2 GHz, the ASUS Zenfone5 is quite a handsome mobile handset to own.

The ASUS Zenfone 5 weighs 145 g and its dimensions are 148.2 x 72.8 x 5.5-10.3 which makes it quite easy for you to drop it into your handbag and rush to work.

Now it all depends what is your basic purpose of a mobile phone. For me, I use the mobile to mostly stay in touch with family, friends or clients for work.

Personally I like to talk less on the phone ( 😉 gotcha!) but I prefer taking it with me when I’m out grocery shopping as invariably last minute additions to my shopping list are made when I get frantic calls from home – “Don’t forget the butter or get that extra tub of ice cream!”

So one of the things I liked about this phone is the clarity in voice and sound quality. You can hear crystal clear even in a noisy supermarket, which is a thumbs up.

Also did I mention that it is super easy to hold and with a gentle swipe of your thumb you can easily navigate your way through the handset.

With an 8MP camera, auto focus, LED Flash and additional features such as geo tagging – this is quite a good buy for the brand.

The ASUS Zenfone 5 is available at Flipkart that offers you one-year manufacturer warranty for the handset and 6 months warranty for in the box accessories Asus India Warranty and Free Transit Insurance. Cool huh?

Stay tuned for part 2 and 3 of the series of the ASUS Zenfone5 Review at The Lifestyle Portal. 🙂
