Testimonial by Manisha Panwar, Founder of Brewathought, Coach/ Mentor & HR Recruiting
My daughter, Prakriti had just finished with her Class X Board exams when the lockdown was announced. The first few weeks flew with an overdose of everything possible that she was unable to do while studying – music, books, movies, social media etc. When the lockdown extended, it was natural for a kid her age to get bored. She insisted that there would be someplace where she could use her flair for writing and learn more about it. I had no idea where to look till I approached Tanya. She introduced me to The Lifestyle Portal’s month-long internship program for young adults. I discussed the same with my daughter and asked her to connect with Tanya.
They hit it off the first instance itself and as days went by, Prakriti found herself feeling more engaged. Tanya exposed her to a variety of writing styles and mentored her patiently via video calls. Her inputs on the writing really helped Prakriti better her skills. She gave the space and the opportunity to a 15-year-old to decide, prioritise and plan her work over these 4 weeks.
Apart from becoming better at writing, Prakriti took away a lot from the Program. Her confidence has doubled, she knows now how to reply to emails in a courteous manner, she is not hesitant in making new contacts and has even started learning the art of networking!
I am really thankful to Tanya and the lifestyle portal for this amazing opportunity to Prakriti and making it a cherished and memorable “first-time” experience for her!
Testimonial by Prakriti Panwar, Intern
I did a one-month internship with The Lifestyle Portal and had an amazing experience. I not only got to learn new skills but also got to connect with a lot of new people. Tanya Ma’am was extremely patient and helpful with me. She introduced me to new and better styles of content writing and creation. We regularly connected over Skype calls, where she reviewed my work with me. In all, it was an engaging and interactive month that I thoroughly enjoyed!
