Why Children Teach Us More Than We Expect: Insights from W.I.N.G.S and I.N.S.P.I.R.E
This Teacher’s Day, I am celebrating my students and mentees — the children who have taught me more than any book or training ever could. In my years of mentoring through The Write Compass, the most meaningful lessons have come from them. Through the W.I.N.G.S and I.N.S.P.I.R.E Programs, I’ve seen children model sincerity, resilience, curiosity, and kindness in the smallest everyday moments. Their effort, humour, honesty, and willingness to try again remind me that learning is a shared journey. These young learners have shaped me into a more mindful mentor — proving that children often hold the wisdom adults forget.
