In all honesty, I wasn’t familiar with Jo Malone before I saw bloggers post about it and then got introduced to the brand after visiting the store launch. I’m definitely a scent lover but one that’s less aware.

The brand is very different from the regular fragrances that we are well versed with. The store houses fragrances beyond musky and green notes, with unusual ones like lime basil and mandarin, earl grey, and cucumber, nutmeg and ginger, woods sage and sea salt, mimosa and cardamom etc. The bottle has a very basic looking packaging, but the fragrances last longer than the average Eau De Parfum. They also hold a large variety of products to go with your cologne, like body oil, shower gels, hand lotions, and shampoos. The brand doesn’t just stop there if you want your room to smell of the same scent they have candles and linen sprays too. The perfumes range from INR 10,500 for 100ml and INR 7,500 for 30ml, but once you sniff them the price is not even the concern. Another impressive part was the final packaging, in a crème hue box with a classy black ribbon, definitely very pleasing to the eye.

The Jo Malone stores across the world provide their customers a customized shopping experience and hand massages too. The store also has a tasting bar, where a fragrance stylist will help you with an introductory session and also tell you how to mix the fragrances. The store is mesmerizing; it not only smells heavenly, but it definitely gives you the feel of shopping in the streets of Paris or London.

Popular Indian blogger Masoom Minawala of Miss Style Fiesta was invited to experience Jo Malone at Amanbagh ( a Rajasthani palace), where she tells us how she fell in love with the fragrances and is currently hooked onto them.

They recently opened their very first store in India at the Palladium Mall, Lower Parel in Mumbai and if you haven’t stepped in yet, I dare you to go in and come out without getting at least one thing or having a fragrance on your wish list. Jo Malone is all set to launch in the capital soon.
