Palden Norbu, Rooftop Lounge Bar

When we hopped into an Uber to go to Palden Norbu, we had no idea what a huge property nestled in the heart of Borivali West in Mumbai suburbs. As a member of Food Bloggers’Association of India (FBAI), The Lifestyle Portal was invited to the opening of this brand new rooftop lounge bar and here we are sharing the experience with our readers.
You can find Palden Norbu, a roof-top lounge bar in The E-hotel, which is quite a pleasant discovery. In a space-starved city like ours, it was something to find it amongst the traffic snarls.

Palden Norbu, as an ambience is quite a discovery for those who live around Borivali West, including those residing in Kandivali, Mira Road and Dahisar. If you’re looking for some fine vegetarian cuisine and some interesting concoctions at the bar, Palden Norbu is the place for you.
As we interacted with fellow food lovers, bloggers and chefs, we dug into some delicious paneer and potato starters and tried out some exciting cocktail recipes as recommended by them. This is a great place to hang out during the winters and also during the late summer evenings over a fine drink, starters and good company.

As we took our tables and enjoyed the nibbles being served to us, we took a stroll around the rooftop lounge to overlook the expanse of the suburbs. We could see a huge pyramid and a huge statue of Lord Buddha. Clearly, the founders of the property are inspired by the peaceful and soothing philosophy of Buddhism.

However, for women traveling to the property alone, there are mobile signal issues, hence booking an Uber/ Ola can be an issue and also the approach road is quite dark and isolated, hence it is always advisable to take the necessary precaution like going with good company and keeping your phone charged as mobile connectivity is an issue.

If you’re looking for a unique experience to celebrate an occasion, a kitty party or a quiet drink over a vegetarian menu, you know where to drop by – Palden Norbu, at E-hotel, Borivali West. For a change, you could be discussing life and not the city’s bad weather, pollution, dust and traffic – maybe that’s why it is called Palden Norbu or glorious jewel in Tibetan.
