Imperfecto, Noida
When visiting friends in Noida, we decided to celebrate our 30-year-old friendship at a fun-filled place called Imperfecto.
Frankly speaking, I have not explored the nightlife here before, but with my childhood bestie settled here, she knew exactly the places for us to visit and I’m glad she and her family took me here.
Barely a 40-minute drive from her place, we reached Gardens Galleria Mall at Sector 38 and took the escalator to the top floor. I was highly impressed with the décor and ambiance at Imperfecto, right from the entrance. A blackboard signage welcoming us with my favourite saying ‘There’s no sincere love than the love of food’, and I knew that my friend had chosen just the place for us.
As we settled down with some fine concoction of mojitos and beer, we ordered some entrees right from a simple yet delicious bruschetta (for the kids, who loved picking on the black olives), to a prawn in an oriental preparation, assorted dim sum and the quintessential chilli chicken dry – that would go perfectly well with the spirits.
While the kids sipped on their strawberry milkshakes, we adults tried our level best not to steal their drinks as it was truly well crafted. Sheesh, being kids is so much fun with so many options to eat and drink!
Imperfecto has a beautiful open-air lounge on top, with a sprawling seating area. The décor is really nicely done, however, we chose to sit inside as there was a live band playing and I was not in the mood for Bollywood dance numbers. All we wanted to do was to just sit down and with some good food, company and some soul searching music.
The overall décor, the food, the ambiance, and even the service at Imperfecto, Noida are excellent. Coming from Mumbai, I think Imperfecto has set my standards of a class of service, food and ambience at a lounge bar way high.
