Valentine’s Day Contest – Entry No. 2 – ‘Hansee to phansee’
Here goes our second entry to the Valentine’s Day Contest sent in to us by Vinita Rishi from Mumbai. We loved the story and the gorgeous photograph captioned ‘Hansee to phansee’ and we’re sure you’ll love her story too.
So dear friends, start ‘Liking’ and ‘Sharing’ her romantic story to help her win the prize! 🙂

The eyes met across the hall… the hearts fluttered… she blushed… he smiled. Well that’s more for the Mills and Boon fantasy that never really happened.
How we met was most conventional & so to say the story next door. His father had posted a matrimonial ad in a leading daily & my ever on the lookout father spotted it. Well then as it goes, the parents exchanged the family details etc & finally both of us were given each other’s email id’s.
I happened to be on a vacation when I received this very formal mail with request to interact since we were in different towns and meeting immediately was not a possibility.
Well one mail led to another with each and every question being asked; right from eating habits to willingness to cook on his part (which has not led to much btw).
Things moved and one day I got a call from him saying he was in town and that he would like to meet. I asked him to request for a meeting with my father. So all formalities done with he arrived at my place on a Sunday dot on time as per true military tradition & I was still taking my afternoon siesta.
A splash of water & hurriedly swept stroke of brush in my hair & I was ready to meet this guy who had engaged me since the past couple of weeks. (Did I mention that he got my mother a bunch of roses; very smooth).
Seconds turned to minutes & minutes to hours & the conversation just went on & on & still does…… yes the deal was sealed & stays so after 10 years…
