Olive Bistro Food Review

If there’s one place that I like to go at Oberoi Mall, after the cinemas and shopping at Lifestyle is Olive Bistro.
Tastefully done up, their outlet offers us suburban dwellers that perfect go to place to celebrate anniversaries, get-togethers and my favourite a Sunday brunch with friends or a post movie outing.
I really liked the blend of funky 60s and an English themed setting at Olive, looks best during the daytime that lets you can admire the wall décor and the interiors.

Settle down on a nice couch with colourful cushions thrown in as you enjoy a refreshing tall glass of Peach Lemon Ice Tea. The glass is really huge, enough for two people to share.
This ice tea can be paired beautifully with Marinated Mushrooms that are served with a stuffing of ricotta and lime with a rosemary and balsamic marination on a bed of sour mayo (though I wish it was sour cream).
For the mains try the Cajun Spiced Chicken thin crust wood oven pizza, enough for two or three people. The chunks of chicken, corn, jalapenos and cilantro add to the juicy gossip sessions.

If you like fish, how about a Panfried River Sole that’s served with parsley, potato, broccoli, artichokes and saffron beurre blanc.
Finally, end the meal with a summer specialty Mango Coconut Pannacota – this half and half dessert is served very stylishly and for me was the highlight of the menu.
With respect to food, presentation and ambience, Olive Bistro has secured a special place in my heart. I’m definitely going back there to try out their other in-house specialties.
